What does Scan&Go Basic mean?

Scan&Go Basic is a plug & play, stand-alone access control product, developed to eliminate the problem of unwanted vehicles and pedestrians, whilst enabling controlled access for visitors, customers, suppliers and staff in a more user-friendly and cost-effective way.

A system that does not require a wired or wireless network, a computer or software to be operational. Electric current is sufficient. Installation and commissioning are therefore done in record time and reliability is unmatched.

Operating principle

A 2D code ticket is generated by an operator with a printer that has pre-programmed buttons defining the validity of the tickets.

The scanner is mounted in a robust aluminum housing. It autonomously interprets the validity included in the 2D code on the ticket and then decides whether or not to grant access.

At the exit, another scanner also interprets the ticket to authorize the exit.

Advantages of the system

1. Ticket with validity: The validity of the tickets is limited in time and frequency of use and in a bar code
2. Without management software: Commissioning in minutes using barcode control cards instead of software.
3. Autonomous: No need for a computer network. No software. Only power supply.
4. Contactless: Scan 2D codes on tickets and cards without having to open your car door.

Scan&Go Pro is the advanced range in access control for vehicles and pedestrians . Scan&Go Pro offers plug&play properties , but with more features than Scan&Go Basic :

Freestanding columns

Our “Pay-On-Foot” columns are available in five configurations thanks to combinations of three payment methods: coins, notes and bank cards. These columns are available in two widths and two heights in order to have even a PMR variant.

Payment in vehicle

These columns are technically identical to Pay-on-Foot columns. However, additional software features and an adjusted height (thanks to a modular concept) allow these columns to have the proper configuration for an inlet or outlet

Manual cash register​

The manual cash register (APD) consists of a dual-screen tablet connected via Bluetooth to a scanner and a counter printer. The APD can operate stand-alone or in a network and is compatible with ProConnect. Application of fixed or variable parking rates. Agreement of discounts.

Configure APD in network mode (“one ticket” system) or in standalone mode (“two tickets” system).

The Ramp Management System Kit is an intelligent access control solution for traffic ramps, allowing efficient management of vehicle priority.

Operating principle​ (System used for the management of narrow and two-way traffic ramps)

The PLC management controller is connected to a vehicle detection system at the end of the ramp (1 at the entrance and 1 at the exit).

• In first come, first served vehicle mode:

The first vehicle passing the detection system will get priority and will have a green traffic light and for the other end the vehicle will have a red traffic light.

• In vehicle mode in priority output:

The outgoing vehicle will always have priority (green on the traffic light) and the other incoming car will have a red traffic light.

The vehicle sensors are usually inductive loops installed in the roadway.

The DC5 and DC8 displays are “all-in-one” displays. They integrate a counter

differential allowing the counting of the number of parking spaces in a

parking.

The parking space counting for the structure is done from ultrasonic sensors placed above each parking space. They are connected to panels displaying the number of free spaces. With management software, the operator can monitor occupancy and mobility within the parking lot in real time.
